Okay so I'm not dead still, that's a plus I guess.

Other than that, I'm sort of stuck.  I've got a lot of stuff happening with work and NYCC coming next week so expect me to not be around as heavily.

I'm still working on my drawing skills in my sketchbooks but digital might slow down.  I'm still willing to take requests now for small vectors and drawings (digital might come later but some sketches might be scanned if people are willing) and hopefully in a couple weeks more serious stuff will come up again.

When that happens though, expect some fun stuff. :D

Later!

Cool.  I'll be getting back to my workstation starting tomorrow so I'll also be getting more done with your request then.

I'm also in the process of upgrading so depending on how well that goes your stuff could be the first things to use it.

Illustrator CS5.  I'm using Photoshop CS5 for drawing.

Is it hard to make vectors like My Little Pony?

Well yes and no.

No in the case that if you're doing trace it's not that difficult because you're following a set image (with possible minor corrections).

Yes in two cases:  If you are doing a trace, even the most minor mistake can be caught and people will sometimes ask for a fix or won't be able to use it otherwise.  The second case is if you're doing original vectors because getting the anatomy right of the characters can be tricky.  They have very specific anatomical specs despite appearing very simple at first glance.

Are you taking any requests?

As a matter of fact I am.  Though at the moment I'm kind of at an inbetween in tools so it's a bit of a mix.  Digital drawings will be requests and some small vectors will still be fair game.
